I graduated as a dentist in 1982 from Utrecht University. Before that, I had completed a degree in Civil Engineering and spent four years designing offshore drilling platforms for oil and gas fields in the North Sea. Ultimately, I found my true calling in microscopic-level engineering as an endodontist. After graduation, I pursued extensive postgraduate education. This included training in periodontology at the University of Gothenburg under Professors Jan Lindhe and Sture Nyman, and the POS orthodontics course in Los Angeles with Dr. Donald McGann.

Dr. McGann advised me to contact Dr. Clifford J. Ruddle in California to further develop my endodontic expertise. I owe Dr. Ruddle immense gratitude for all he taught me—he is certainly not an easy teacher! For 15 years, I served as his assistant instructor for hands-on training courses. I am incredibly proud to be part of his team and to have run an endodontic referral practice in Amstelveen for 30 years.

I am delighted to have been welcomed by Wim and his team.

This is an inspiring time for all of us. Endodontic treatments require a strong team effort, and I am truly grateful to continue providing top-level care for patients at Residentaal Dentists.
